House of the Seven Gables

Nathaniel Hawthorne's classic and spooky House of the Seven Gables, as adapted by Vin Morreale, Jr., will come to life on the stage of the Rogers Children's Theatre for ten performances beginning Friday, April 17.  To book a morning performance on April 20-24 for your school class, call 903-593-7827. Director Felicity Enas has chosen a cast of experienced actors, headed by Kayla Belk of Winona as Phoebe Pyncheon. Other members of the Pyncheon clan, in various generations, are William Howell of Lindale as Judge Pyncheon, Clarence Strickland of Tyler as Clifford Pyncheon, and Cindy Fowler of Tyler as Hepzibah Pyncheon. Fowler will also serve as costume mistress for the production.

Kenny Davis of Tyler plays Adam Hargrove, whom Phoebe meets when she returns to her ancestral home. Bill Benson of Chandler will be seen as Uncle Venner.  Actors playing multiple roles and furnishing voiceovers include Hannah Booth, Hannah Bower, LeeAnna Burgdorf, Rob Carter, Hannah Johnson, and Hunter Regian, all of Tyler.

Regian will also be stage manager for the production, working with producers Connie Jackson and Judy Watson, both of Tyler.

House of the Seven Gables is the fourth and final production of the current season in the Rogers Children's Theatre.
